Introduced in 2020 to mark the opening of Patek Philippe's new manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, the Calatrava reference 6007A-001 represents one of the more collectible modern releases from the Maison. Made in an edition of 1000 pieces worldwide, the use of a steel case for a non-sports watch, indeed any Patek Philippe watch, makes this edition particularly exciting. Paired with a grey-blue dial featuring a textured "carbon" pattern at the centre, this combination gives the watch a distinctly modern character while preserving the refined proportions and timeless elegance of the collection. Luminous Arabic numerals, a bold minute track, and the finely finished movement visible through the sapphire back highlight Patek Philippe's meticulous craftsmanship.
