The coat-of-arms on the yacht, shown on the right, are those of Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend (1674 – 1738), a British Whig stateman, who had served as Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Dutch States-General from 1709 until 1711.
