Japan, 19th century
One carved as a large toad with a smaller toad resting on its back; one toad crouching with its body slightly twisted to the left, its legs tucked beneath; a standing sage dressed in a long robe with frowning expression and a long beard; a Roshi on a water buffalo.
The longest 6.7cm (2 5/8in) high. (4).
