TWO PAIRS OF INLAID IRON VASES
Meiji period
Comprising: a pair of tapering vases with flared necks, worked in gold and silver with shaped panels enclosing birds amongst flower sprays, the necks with grapevine collars, all on fretwork grounds; and a smaller pair similarly decorated, with overlapping panels of grapevine and lotus ponds, seal marks.
The tallest 16.5cm (6 1/2in) high. (4).
