法國 十九世紀 銅觚式瓶一對
The Société des Marbres et Bronzes Artistiques was founded by Charles de Marnyhac in Paris. It specialised in the production of works of art. The Marnyhac House won a medal at the 1878 Exposition Universelle, and its creations rivalled those of Christofle, Barbedienne and l'Escalier de Cristal. To cater to the popular Japonisme trend, Marnyhac frequently employed the talent of Édouard Lièvre (1828-1886), one of the most inventive ornamentists of the second half of the 19th century. The present vases show the fascination with later Chinese bronzes in France during the late 19th century.
