An early 20th century gilt metal and enamel singing bird box

probably German

Rectangular, the top and lid with enamelled scene of a canal and windmill with boats, the sides with green banded white enamel the going barrel movement operated by push/pull lever at the side, with feathered bird automaton with wings and beak movements, length 10.2cm.
