An early 20th century gilt metal and enamel singing bird box

probably German

Rectangular form, with blue enamel throughout with gilt metal stars, the cover and sides bordered with white enamel, the going barrel movement operated by push/pull lever at the side, with feathered bird automaton with wings and beak movements, length 10.4cm.
