An early 20th century gilt metal and enamel singing bird box

probably German

Rectangular, with scrolling engraving to the top, the lid with engraved bird, the sides with engraved designs the going barrel movement operated by push/pull lever at the side, with feathered bird automaton with wings and beak movements, raised on four bun feet, length 9.9cm.
