Modelled by Paul Scheurich as a lady wearing a 19th century gown heightened in blue, holding up her dress and adjusting her stocking with her left foot resting on a pillow decorated with indianische Blumen, a winged putto beside her, faint incised 'Scheurich' on the top of the base on the reverse, 26cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number G 293, impressed former numeral 156, painter's numeral 15 in black

Paul Scheurich drew a lady with Cupid to illustrate a short poem, 'Das Strumpfband' [The Garter] by F.W. Gotter, published in "Damenbrevier 1920". The model was created between 1919-22, was purchased by the manufactory on 20 March 1922 for RM 15,000 and produced in porcelain the same year. Fifty-eight figures - all coloured - were sold between 1923 and 1932.
