Two Meissen figures of Cupids in disguise as Harlequin and Columbine, circa 1924-34 and circa 1955

After 18th-century models, each winged figure wearing appropriate costume and holding a slapstick, the bases applied with flowers and shaded in green, 8.7cm and 8.2cm high, crossed swords marks in underglaze blue (Harlequin with a dot between the tips), Harlequin with incised 4., impressed 111 and painter's mark 11, Columbine with incised 4, impressed 125 and date symbol for 1955, painter's number 81. (slapsticks restored) (2)
