A Meissen figure of a putto catching a fish emblematic of water, late 19th century

Kneeling by wicker trap and with a small basketwork bag containing a lobster, the base modelled with gilt-edged scrollwork, 12.6cm across; 10.8cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number S62, impressed 8, painter's number 45. (some restoration)
