The reverse is incised with a scene of Isis in the marshes, suckling Horus, with two horizontal rows of text and a column of text at either side of the scene, and further text on the underside, all of which is not legible but probably protective in nature. The two sides of the amulet are decorated with the symbols of an ankh, djed-pillar and was sceptre.
