Both the animal procession (here of a goat and lion) and the concentric circles with radiating lines inbetween on the mouth of this vessel are typical features of the Blaricum Painter's work. Most well-known for decorating aryballoi and amphoriskoi, the Painter's name in fact comes from another ring aryballos, kept in a private collection in Blaricum, Netherlands.
