A pair of Pictorial Magazine Artworks by George Wachsteter

WACHSTETER, GEORGE. Original cover artwork for the November 26, 1961 edition of the New York Journal-American Pictorial Magazine TV section, including a pencil and watercolor caricature of Fred Gwynne and Joe E. Ross of Car 54, Where are You?, 16 x 11 in.; an ink line drawing of the same image (prepped for printing), 17 x 13 in.; and the final printed color, 14.5 x 10 inches. All three items framed together. WITH: another example from the November 16, 1958 edition of the same publication, including an original watercolor, an ink line drawing, and the final example featuring actors Alfred Drake and Patricia Morison in an adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. All three framed together.
