Including a US half-sheet poster from The Time Machine (MGM, 1960); a US half-sheet poster from When Worlds Collide (Paramount, 1951); a US one-sheet poster, US half-sheet poster and set of eight lobby cards for Atlantis, The Lost Continent (MGM 1961). Exhibiting expected age and handling.
Hungarian producer, filmmaker, and animator George Pal's name conjures up the word "colorful" more than any other auteur in film history. His films such as Destination Moon (1950), Houdini and War of the Worlds (both 1953), The Time Machine (1960), to name just a few, are classics in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Known for his Puppetoons, he introduced the art of stop-motion animation and was considered a mentor by others who followed him, including the legendary Ray Harryhausen.
