The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grand Tourbillon reference 149.6.34.S is an exceptionally fine and rare timepiece. The tourbillon alone consists of 78 individual parts and weighs just 0.28 grams. The pointer date hand can be adjusted in both directions, with a gap between 15 and 16 to allow a clear view of the tourbillon. Additionally, the watch features a dual time-zone display within a textured sub dial that subtly contrasts day and night hours. This lovely platinum cased timepiece was created in honor of Antoine LeCoultre, a master watchmaker dedicated to advancing horology. The current lot, in excellent condition, is a limited edition numbered 61 out of 300. It is a beautiful example from the watchmaker's watchmaker and is of tremendous value given all of its elements combined.
