AMETHYST, GEM-SET AND DIAMOND 'OWL' BROOCH

Modelled as a friendly owl perching on a wooden branch with a small birdy, the body set with a cabochon checkerboard-cut amethyst body weighing 105.72 carats, decorated with yellow sapphire head and wings, to a pair of bi-coloured sugarloaf tourmaline eyes, the little bird set with circular diamonds and green garnets, suspending a black diamond oscillating spider, accented by a jadeite and an enamel leaf, the yellow sapphires and diamonds together weighing approximately 10.50 and 3.70 carats respectively; mounted in 18 karat white, yellow and blackened gold; dimensions 6.7 x 5.8cm

Accompanied by a Lotus report numbered 4720-3964, dated 20 February 2019, stating that the 105.72-carat amethyst is natural, Purplish Violet colour, medium tone and rich saturation, with no indication of heating/treatment.
