Modelled by J.J. Kaendler and Peter Reinicke, with his hands behind his back, wearing a black skullcap, long white coat, gilt-edged iron-red tunic and breeches, and yellow shoes, the base applied with leaves and flowers, 15.2cm high (minor chips)

After the engraving "Pantalon Ancien" by François Joullain after Jacques Callot, published in 1728 in Louis Riccoboni's Histoire du thêatre Italien, 1728. An existing figure of Pantalone was reworked by Kaendler and Reinicke in 1744 and is listed in their respective work records in March (quoted in Sarah Katharina Andres-Acevedo, Die autonomen figürlichen Plastiken Johann Joachim Kaendlers [...], vol. II, 2023, p. 165).
