Probably modelled by F.E. Meyer, wearing a purple hat, gilt-edged tunic with alternating panels of puce and coloured chevrons, a yellow skirt decorated with playing cards and with a slapstick to her left in a black belt, the white shoes edged in purple and with gilt buckles, the base applied with leaves and flowers and with a gilt-metal mount, 13cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue to rear of base (minor chips)

Another example of this figure is in the Pauls Collection, Basel (ill. Reinhard Jansen (ed.), Commedia dell'Arte. Fest der Komödianten, 2001, p. 58, cat. 43); Meredith Chilton supports the suggestion that Meyer modelled this figure, some years after the Duke of Weissenfels series with which it is often associated (see Jansen (ed.), Commedia dell'Arte, p. 27).
Another example of this figure, from the Gustav and Charlotte von Klemperer collection, was sold at Bonhams London, 8 October 2014, lot 65.
