Formant un bourdon stylisé centré d'un cabochon de chrysobéryl œil-de-chat, les yeux sertis de rubis de forme ronde, l'abdomen, les ailes, la tête et les antennes sertis de diamants de taille ancienne et de taille rose, réhaussé de lignes d'émail noir, poinçons français pour l'or 18K (750°/00) et poinçon français d'import pour l'argent (850°/00), dimensions 6.60 x 4.20 cm, poids brut 23.19 g.

ENAMEL, CHRYSOBERYL, RUBY AND DIAMOND 'BUMBLEBEE' BROOCH, CIRCA 1850
Designed as a stylised bumblebee centring on a cat's eye chrysoberyl cabochon, the eyes set with circular-cut rubies, the abdomen, the wings, the head and the antennae set with old brilliant- and rose-cut diamonds, highlighted by black enamel accents, French assay marks for 18 carat gold and French import marks for silver, measurements 6.60 x 4.20 cm, gross weight 23.19 grams.

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first €40,000 of the Hammer Price
27% from €40,001 to €800,000 the Hammer Price
21% from €800,001 to €4,500,000 the Hammer Price
14.5% on the excess over €4,500,000 of the Hammer Price
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
TVA at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges.
