Formant trois rangs en chute composés d'une succession de motifs sertis d'émeraudes de taille rectangulaire à pans coupés, de taille carrée et losangée, dans un entourage de diamants de taille ancienne et de taille rose, alternés de motifs ronds sertis de diamants de taille ancienne, poinçons français d'import pour l'or 18K (750°/00) et l'argent (800°/00), longueur approx. 39.50 cm, poids brut 106.96 g, accompagné d'un écrin à la forme signé Charles Halet, 4 rue de la Colline, Bruxelles, manque un diamant de taille rose.

ATTRIBUTED TO CHARLES HALET: EMERALD AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Designed as three graduated rows composed of clusters of cut-cornered step-cut emeralds, within surrounds of cushion-shaped, old brilliant- , single- and rose-cut diamonds, connected by knife-edge links punctuated with collet-set old brilliant-cut diamonds, continuing to two openwork motifs set with lozenge-shaped emeralds and old brilliant-cut diamonds, the back designed as a single row of square step-cut and old brilliant-cut diamond clusters, French import marks for 18 carat gold and silver, approx. length 39.50 cm, gross weight 106.96 grams, accompanied by a fitted case stamped Charles Halet, 4 rue de la Colline, Bruxelles, one rose-cut diamond deficient.

Provenance: From the private collection of a Belgian noble family.
