A very rare engraved triple-series mixed blue colour twist wine glass, circa 1765

The generous ogee bowl decorated with a broad band of stylised scrolling foliage issuing flowers, on a stem containing a pair of spiral gauzes with cores, around a central air spiral cable and within a pair of deep translucent cobalt-blue spiral threads, over a conical foot, 15.8cm high

Triple-series colour twist wine glasses are amongst the rarest, with only a handful of examples recorded. No other triple-series mixed colour twist wine glass would appear to be recorded in the literature.
