A Royal Worcester reticulated vase by George Owen, dated 1891

The shape in Persian style resembling a mosque lamp, the everted neck pierced with floral sprigs and arched panels picked out in gold, the shoulder with pierced scrolled panels and four gilded lugs in Chinese style, above a reticulated band of unique design between wider bands of honeycomb, the turquoise, pink and ivory grounds highlighted with raised gilt dots and gold tracery, turquoise and white enamel 'jewels' above the foot, 10.8cm high, factory mark and shape number 1257 in puce, gilder's mark RS for Samuel Ranford
