Illustrated by Charles Dawson, Worcester Flight & Barr Porcelain (2023), p.165, fig.16.25.
Cottage pastille burners were staple products of the Staffordshire porcelain industry and so it is surprising that Flights chose to compete in this market. As would be expected from Flights, their solitary model is a luxurious property. An example in the Museum of Royal Worcester is illustrated by Henry Sandon, Flight and Barr Worcester Porcelain (1978), p.181. For others see John Sandon, Dictionary of Worcester Porcelain (1993), col. pl.25 and Worcester Porcelain at Cheekwood (2008), p.134, fig.83. A further example from the Lord and Lady Flight Collection was sold by Bonhams, 30 November 2022, lot 455.
