A façon de Venise engraved baluster goblet, Liège or Low Countries, late 17th century

The generous round funnel bowl decorated with a continuous bacchanalian scene depicting nude putti winemaking and drinking, one carrying a basket of grapes towards two treading grapes, and one astride a barrel pouring wine into another's cup while a third fills a jug from the tap below, with a radiant sun above, the two scenes divided by profusely scrolling fruiting vine plants, resting on a collar above a wide hollow inverted baluster stem with a basal merese, on a replacement metal foot, 21.6cm high
