A rare Birmingham or South Staffordshire enamel bonbonnière, circa 1760-70

Modelled as a unicorn lying on a circular grassy base, its white coat picked out in grey, its horns in yellow and red, the animal tethered to the base by a yellow chain attached to its hind leg, the hinged cover with a tiger hunting scene within a scrolled border, 5.8cm diam
