A fine Potsdam engraved moulded-stem large wine glass or goblet, circa 1730-50

The round funnel bowl finely decorated with a continuous landscape depicting three standing figures in classical dress, one a gentleman in armour and a plumed helmet standing in a dancing pose, flanked on his right by a gentleman plating a guitar, and on his left a lady playing a lute, a small tree to the reverse, the rim with a border of circlets, the base cut with stiff-leaves, on a six-sided pedestal stem containing an elongated tear, the conical foot also cut with a stiff-leaf border, 16.9cm high
