Two Dutch engraved colour twist wine glasses, circa 1765

In soda glass and with bell bowls, one decorated with a formal border of entwined husk-like foliage and stars above a band of stylised floral sprigs, the stem with a central opaque white vertical cable within a pair of opaque canary-yellow spiral threads alternating with a pair of translucent cobalt-blue threads, over a conical foot, 16.5cm high, the other faintly engraved with a formal band, on a stem with a central opaque white gauze within three alternating pair of spiral threads in translucent ruby-red, translucent blue and opaque white, over a conical foot, 16cm high (2)
