In hard wood, finely carved in crescent form from profile; the rim with a multitude of piercings for attachments, several worn through from much indigenous use; six large curvilinear coiffure bundles accentuate the head above heavy eyelids pierced below for the dancer; the nose highlighted with an incised diamond panel that extends up the forehead; the open mouth with protruding lips inset with metal teeth and pierced through with pointed chin below; highlighted throughout the front with white circular pigments; fine black patina with wear indicative of significant age and use.
