Of grand scale, most likely carved without the use of metal tools, the deep bowl resting on four tapered legs, an archetypal zoomorphic face with two pierced eyes on the underside; numerous age distress cracks, two with indigenous repairs, and staining on the interior, all indicative of significant age and use.
