Designed with the scene of Abraham sacrificing Isaac, the middle distance depicting the sacrificial altar, the bearded figure of Abraham holding a sword in his right hand and the small figure of Isaac kneeling on a pyre, to the foreground there is a man seated on a rocky outcrop, dressed in rich blue tunic, conversing with a youth leading a donkey, the whole enclosed by elaborate flower-filled and fruiting border, with later blue outer slip,
