A diamond-set, gold-mounted and guilloché enamel silver-gilt cigarette case

Fabergé, workmaster August Hollming, St Petersburg, 1908 - 1917, also stamped with importers mark Charles Fabergé, and import marks for London 1913
Rectangular form, enamelled overall in translucent white enamel over a wavy engine-turned ground, the ends with laurel-chased vari-coloured gold bands, the cover with a diamond-set thumb-piece, with a separate flush-hinged vesta compartment to one end, with inset striking plate, in a leather carrying case, length 9.2cm, weight all-in 4.5oz.

In 1903 the London branch for Faberge was established by Athur Bowe.
In 1906 Peter Carls Fabergé fourth son Nicholas Fabergé opened a branch at 48 Dover Street Piccadilly with Henry Charles Bainbridge and in 1911 this office moved to 173 New Bond Street and remained open until 1915.
