A good pair of William IV silver and silver-gilt 'swan' candlesticks

John Bridge, London 1830, also stamped RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDELL, AURIFICES REGIS LONDINI
Each with cast shaped-triangular bases with varying shell corners, with three swans attached over a rippling watery surface, their outstretched heads pointing upwards surrounding the central acanthus stem and sconce with berries, detachable petalled shaped drip-pan, height 16.8cm, weight 60oz. (2)

These candlesticks were based on a design by the Duchess of Sutherland, (1765-1839), the amateur landscape painter and engraver.
