A matched pair of George III mahogany, satinwood and marquetry demi-lune foldover top tables

The card table circa 1775; the other tea table of a slightly later date but apparently 1785-1805
Each inlaid with ebonised and boxwood stringing, the card table with a hinged top enclosing a leather lined playing surface, each with a flute-inlaid frieze centred by a projecting tablet inlaid with a demi-flowerhead within a demi-lune fan medallion, adorned with a husk festoon, on ring turned fluted tapering legs each headed by a lotus leaf wrapped collar, on peg feet, the slightly later tea table of greater width and differing proportions, the card table: 92cm wide x 43.5cm deep x 73.5cm high; the tea table: 96.5cm wide x 43.5cm deep x 72.5cm high, (37 1/2in wide x 17in deep x 28 1/2in high) (2)
