The well painted by Polyces Langlois, signed l.l. 'P.Langlois' with a view of the 'PONT de SAINTES (CHARENTE-INFÉRIEURE)', titled below on a gilt label within a trellis band reserved with shells, the blue-ground rim with a printed gilt border of fish above foliate swags enclosing groups of fish hung on a line, 24.5cm diam., crowned LP monogram and SV 45 stencilled in green, gilt marks W and n.59, inscribed in green '14.9.45. (?)', incised marks
