A Berlin plate from the hunting service for Wilhelm Duke of Braunschweig, circa 1844-47

The well with crowned gilt initial 'W' and a burnished gilt border, the gilt-edged rim with four landscape vignettes depicting game animals within a gilt scrollwork cartouche, joined by nets hung in swags supporting hunt trophies and oak leaves, 25.1cm diam., KPM and easle in underglaze-blue, orb and KPM stencilled in iron-red, impressed 44 and incised III
