PRESENTATION COPY, SIGNED AND INSCRIBED beneath Steinbeck's portrait: "For Dave and Joan / from an uncle / John Steinbeck." A lovely presentation copy to close family members. Viking printed 3200 copies of Steinbeck's Nobel Prize in Literature acceptance speech for distribution by the author and publisher.
