Designed by Merle Armitage. Folio (329 x 217 mm). 9 full-page etchings by Jean Kellogg. Publisher's black cloth over boards, spine stamped in gilt, black cloth slipcase. Light wear to slipcase, fine overall.
Provenance: Collection of David Heyler; by descent.

LIMITED EDITION, No 44 of 115, SIGNED by Jeffers and Kellogg. Jeffers work had a profound influence on the slightly younger Steinbeck, as well as on Ed Ricketts, and their association.
