A set of four Empire ormolu cassolettes or brûle-parfum

Early 19th century
The bowl-shaped receivers with engine turned decoration, the swept pierced covers with flambé finials reversing to milled baluster candle nozzles on classical female bust tripod supports united by milled girdles on webbed feet, the shaped platform bases with central pinecone finals raised on toupie disc feet, 15.5cm diam., 36.5cm high (6in diam., 14in high) (4)
