A pair of French ormolu mounted verde antico marble twin handled garniture vases

In the Louis XVI style, probably second quarter 19th century
The inverted pear-shaped bodies with milled girdles and applied vine swags, the leafy domed covers with fruiting knopped finials, raised on foliate and fluted socle and laurel wreath bases and stepped square plinths, 16.5cm wide, 12.5cm deep, 33cm high (6in wide, 4 1/2in deep, 12 1/2in high) (2)
