A matched garniture of four French ormolu mounted verde antico marble twin handled garniture vases

In the Louis XVI style, probably second quarter 19th century
The inverted pear-shaped bodies with milled girdles and applied vine swags, the leafy domed covers with fruiting knopped finials, raised on foliate and fluted socle and laurel wreath bases and stepped square plinths, two vases with later inset ring bandings to the socles, 12cm wide, 8.5cm deep, 23.5cm high (4 1/2in wide, 3in deep, 9in high) (4)
