The vessel supported on three gilt cabriole legs in the form of caparisoned elephant heads, rising to a petal-shaped everted rim, decorated with meandering lotus scrolls, the cover in three sections pierced with leafy lotus scrolls, surmounted by a gilt finial in the form of a Buddhist lion.
