A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID BLACK LACQUER TRAY
Ming/ Early Qing Dynasty
The square shallow tray raised on four foliate-shaped bracket feet, the sides of the interior carefully embellished with a leafy lotus spray, covered overall in an attractive brownish-black lacquer, Japanese wood box; together with a set of gilt-bronze incense tool vase and tools decorated with floral patterns, Japanese, Meiji/Taisho Period.
The dish: 29cm (11 3/8in) wide; incense tool set: 14cm (5 1/2in) high
