Of rectangular form, the body flanked by a pair of dragon handles, the exterior of the body decorated with a band of pendant lappets below the rim and a band of lotus petals above the foot, cover, stand and box.

The design of incense burner flanks by a pair of dragon handles decorated with a band of lotus petals on the foot can be found on cloisonné enamel archaistic gui-form vessels of the same period. See three examples in the Qing Court collection, illustrated in the Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum.
