With tapering double-edged blade incised with a running wolf mark on each side forward of the forte, the latter with central fuller incised 'ANDREA FERARA' between pellet and 'eyelash' marks, iron 'ribbon' guard of flat bars involving saltires, circular panels each pierced with a trefoil above and below, and with an 'S' on each side, most of the bars retaining traces of incised line decoration, rudimentary forward quillon, integral half-ring beneath the bun-shaped pommel with flattened button, and replacement wooden grip (some old pitting and file marks)
