An 1821 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper's Sword, And A William IV 1822 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword

The first of regulation pattern with bright blade, and ribbed wire-bound leather-covered grip (worn), in its original steel scabbard (some old dents); the second of regulation pattern, the blade (light pitting) retaining traces of etched crowned cypher between sprigs of laurel on each side, hilt retaining much of its original gilding, and with wire-bound fishskin-covered grip (minor damage missing) (2)
