The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire Set Of Insignia To Sir H. Rider Haggard
1912

A Knight Commanders set of insignia comprising neck badge and breast-star in silver-gilt, silver and enamel, 1st type, Civil Division: in Garrard & Co. Ltd. case of issue; together with an illustrated vellum grant of arms to Robert Copeman of Hemsby Hall, Norfolk, dated 1864, signed by Charles Young, Garter and Robert Laurie, Clarenceux, complete with two red wax seals each in its skippet: in its fitted red morocco covered case tooled and gilt with crowned 'VR' cyphers, and another to George Rickman Copeman of Hemsby Hall, Norfolk, dated 5 August 1889, signed by Albert W. Woods, Garter and Walter Aston Blount, Clarenceux, in its fitted black leather-covered case tooled and gilt with crowned 'VR' cyphers (3)
