With rebrowned twist sighted barrels signed along the damascus twist rib (signature refreshed), recessed border engraved patent breeches decorated with a gundog's head between and each with platinum lines and platinum-lined touch-hole, tang engraved with foliate scrollwork, signed border engraved flat locks each decorated with foliage and with a pheasant in a landscape, foliate engraved hammers and tube-retainers, the latter each acting against a spring roller, lacquered highly figured half-stock with chequered grip and velvet-covered cheek-pad (worn and slightly damaged), border engraved steel mounts including serial numbered trigger-guard decorated with pheasants in a landscape on the bow, trigger-plate engraved with a scallop shell on the pineapple-shaped finial, rear ramrod-pipe en suite, silver escutcheon engraved with owner's crest, and brass-mounted ramrod (some wear and pitting), London proof marks
