A German Black And White Comb Morion Bearing The Arms Of The Cooper's Guild

With two-piece skull with high roped comb, embossed in low relief on each side with a hand-axe between a set of dividers framed within a circular repeated tongue border, all against a blackened ground, the base of the skull encircled by lining rivets each with pewter rosette-shaped washer, downturned brim curving up to a point fore and aft and with turned notch roped border, and with a pair of later cheek-plates
