A German Black And White Comb Morion Probably For The Guard Of The Counts Khevenhüller Zu Aichelberg

With two-piece skull and high roped comb, embossed in low relief on each side with a bright acorn on a partly bright arched band interrupted by a blackened recessed panel, the downturned brim pointed fore and aft (one point slightly incomplete) with turned notch roped edge, the base of the skull encircled by lining rivets, three retaining their rosette-shaped washer (some loss of blackened finish)
